Warby Parker's new Maker Edition of glasses is just amazing! For anyone that knows me, knows I am a sucker for all things the shade of gold! These glasses don't disappoint! These frames are timeless and can be worn with any outfit. They will be perfect for summer to wear casually with shorts or to dress up your Canada Day attire; and will keep you looking stylish through all those summer weddings. The Maker Edition name comes from the attention to detail that was put into making these glasses. Each pair is precision welded by hand and custom tooling was used to finish off the designs. However, if this collection is not your style be sure to check out the rest of their eyeglasses. And the best part? For each pair sold, they donate a pair to someone in need. The above glasses start at $195 a pair.

This tulle skirt has been on heavy repeat over the holidays. This beautiful skirt is made by the amazingly talented Chavah! The best part is she lives right here in Saint John!! This skirt is part of her It Girl collection which debuted at the NBCCD fashion show last April. All the pieces are so feminine and beautiful you are sure to fall in love! This skirt is going to be on heavy rotation in my closet from now on, as it easily transitions through the seasons. The best part about these skirts is that they are made to order so they fit perfectly! I am so excited to have another skirt and top combo on the way from Chavah. If you are looking to have something made Chavah is amazing to work work with. You can also check her out on facebook.

Sweatshirt - In Pursuit || White Shirt - Vero Moda || Hat - handknit by my Mom || Jeans - Paige Denim
Brrr....is it going to warm up anytime soon? Yesterday we were hit with a snow bomb and today the temperatures have dropped back down to -20 degrees celcius and then add the wind chill on top of that. Layers have been essential to staying warm these last two weeks and this Saint John top that I received for Christmas is perfect! So cozy and love that it celebrates my awesome little city. As well, I don't think I am going to take this hat off all winter. My mom made it for me for Christmas and I absolutely love it! (Thanks Mom!). She is so talented! If you need me over the next few days I will be cuddled up by the fire trying to stay warm. What have you been doing to stay warm?

For many the labour day weekend signifies the end of summer. But to me it is one last opportunity to attend an amazing outdoor bbq or picnic with those that you love. SkinnyPop has made it really easy to help jazz up your next get together. Bring any of these drink and popcorn pairings along and you are sure to be the hit of the party! My favorite pairing below is the white peach sangria and naturally sweet popcorn. What a great thing to bring for dessert after your meal! I also love anything sweet!
SkinnyPop makes seven flavors of popcorn. With so many to choose from the combinations of drinks and popcorn are endless! Plus their popcorn is GMO free and gluten and preservative free. What better way to induldge in a delicious healthy snack.

Pants - Dex || Top - Z Supply || Necklace - Stella & Dot || Sandals - Vionic || Sunnies - Coach || Watch - Michael Kors
From the moment I tried this outfit on at Ella the Shop I knew it would be my summer go to. It is stylish, comfortable and so easy. It was great for a day of shopping, at the beach or travelling. I seriously reached for this outfit everytime it was in my drawer. An outfit that feels like pyjamas but looks pulled together? Yes please!
Some of you may remember that I hurt my back in the spring. (My cute heels are still crying in my closets). I searched high and low for supportive footwear. When I stumbled upon these sandals from Vionic I thought I would give them a try. They have arch support and orthaheel technology, and provide proper alignment from the ground up. I am happy to say my back is on it's way to being healed and I think it is due in large part to these sandals. I am going to try a pair of their flats for work this fall. If you are looking for cute and supportive footwear I highly reccomend them! Have a great weekend I am off to my cousin's wedding today!

Trying to decide what to wear to a wedding can always be tricky. The Black Tux has put together this awesome wedding guest style guide to help you decide what to wear based on the type of wedding that you will be attending.
First, make sure you know what kind of event you will be attending. The venue it is being held at is always a good indication of the type of attire you should wear. If you are still unsure of the dress code, talk to others that are attending to see what they are going to wear. If needed lookup the venue online so you can see how fancy the event will be.
Second, finding the perfect outfit. Ladies when selecting a dress to wear make sure you are comfortable in it. You do not want anything that you feel is too short, or doesn't fit right, as you will be conscious of it all night and will not enjoy the wedding as much. Also, try to find out the colour of the bridesmaid dresses so you don't end up showing up in the same colour. I had this happen to me once. Luckily, my husband was in the wedding party so it didn't look so bad, but I would not want it to happen again. I felt slightly akward to say the least. Also keep in mind if the weddin is outside you may want to bring a blazer or jacket to wear with your outfit.
Guys finding the right suit or tux can be challenging as well. Finding the right suit or tux is key to looking your best. With so many styles and colours to choose from, you are sure to find something you like.
Third, proper footwear. Those 6 inch stillettos may look cute but after the ceremony and dancing all night your feet are going to be sore. Choose footwear that compliment your outfit and you will be able to dance in all night long. If you want you can always change your footwear in between the ceremony and reception. Having great footwear is a must, your feet will thank you.
Fourth, have fun. Enjoy the party. If the wedding is your date night enjoy every minute and make memories to last.
I'm off to my cousins wedding this weekend. Looking forward to it ! Congrats to Sam and Rich! #sammarriesrich
